Local Moving Hourly Rates
Professional moving services starting at $170 per hour.
Our base hourly rate starts at $170 for two movers and one truck. Additional movers are $60 per mover, per hour, and additional trucks are $50 per truck, per hour. The number of movers and trucks assigned to your move is determined during the estimate process, based on your property's needs.

Additional Moving Costs
Some moves require services or expenses beyond the hourly crew-and-truck rate. Depending on your relocation, additional line items may include:
- Packing materials: Boxes, packing supplies, and other materials required for your move.
- Fuel: Fuel-related expenses associated with your relocation.
- Valuation protection: Charges based on the declared value of your belongings, as described below.
- Interstate travel expenses: Applicable travel-related costs for moves across state lines.
These items are assessed for each job and estimated following a walkthrough of your property. Not every charge applies to every move. Interstate moves are estimated individually, taking into account factors such as shipment weight and travel distance.
Valuation Protection
Valuation protection is added to every move at a rate of $100 per $10,000 in declared value, subject to Get Your Move On’s terms and conditions. Please review your moving agreement for coverage details, exclusions, and claim requirements.

Is the hourly rate the total cost of my move?
Not necessarily. The published hourly rates cover the specified number of movers and trucks. Your total moving charges depend on the time required, the crew and equipment assigned, and any additional applicable line items identified during your estimate.
How do you determine how many movers and trucks I need?
Our team reviews the details of your move, including the size of the property, the belongings being transported, and any special handling needs. We then recommend the manpower and equipment appropriate for the job.
Are packing materials, fuel, and other expenses included in the hourly rates?
These expenses may be estimated separately when applicable. We review the relevant charges as part of your personalized moving estimate.
Do you provide pricing for interstate moves?
Yes. We handle interstate relocations and prepare an individual estimate based on the details of your move. The local hourly rate table should not be treated as an interstate moving quote.
